To minimise risk to business services during infrastructure relocation, Criterion ICTS conduct detailed planning in the formulation of the relocation plan. The complexity of the relocation project and the time-critical manner in which the components of the relocation project must occur, dictate that detailed planning is essential in ensuring that the relocation process does not have an adverse affect on business critical infrastructure.
Before existing infrastructure can be relocated to its new environment, the new environment must provide the necessary services to support the relocated infrastructure. Power, data cabling and cabinet installations must all be considered and prepared accordingly to ensure no problems are encountered during the infrastructure relocation. If required, a cabling engineer will attend site and document the physical and environmental characteristics of the site and establish the network performance and cabling installation requirements. Network topology & infrastructure hardware recommendations are specified to meet agreed performance and environmental requirements and where necessary, in collaboration with selected partner companies, supply and install structured cabling systems for data, & voice if required.
During the preparation stage, Criterion ICTS will appraise your present operations and liaise with your ICT staff to plan a patching schedule and relocation strategy. The amount of computer relocation support we provide can be as extensive or as flexible as you wish.
With all ICT moves, individual component parts are disconnected, carefully labeled and packaged. On arrival at your new site, our team can ensure all systems are re-commissioned and tested for network connectivity, enabling your company to commence their work from the first day at your new location.
After the completion of the relocation project, Criterion ICTS seek to formally agree project completion with the client. When this has been agreed with both parties, Criterion ICTS provide the client with all the necessary documentation relating to the relocation to complete formal handover.
